July’s presentation is based on Dr Michael Horton's e-book"Managing the “MO- Zone”: The Leader’s Guide to Maximizing MO-tif, MO-rale, MO-tivation, and MO-mentum and the research from a course he recently developed for Walden University on The Psychology of Workplace Motivation.
About the Presenter: Dr. Michael Horton
Dr. Michael Horton teaches organizational psychology as a faculty member for Walden University and University of Phoenix. He writes for the training and development market and is the author of eight books and e-books. In addition, he has an active practice as coach and consultant.
Michael is a leader in moving the industry away from the concept of "soft skills" to a more substantive concept of "leverage skills".
You can catch him frequently as a Top Influencer in several Linkedin groups most notably Organization Development and Training, Learning, Education, and Training LinkedIn forum, Positive Psychology, and TED.
He serves on the Tulsa Mental Health Association policy development committee and as a Mentor for the Tulsa Veterans Treatment Court.
