  • This is for ATD Tulsa Member registrations received BEFORE the pre-determined headcount meal guarantee is to be submitted. Payment accepted online in advance; or by cash, check or credit card at the door. Reservations cannot be cancelled after headcount is provided to the facility. How many of your employees receive feedback that they need to speak louder, enunciate more clearly, or stand more confidently? We all know what a leader or manager sounds like. We want to be inspired by someone who sounds confident, expressive, and authentic; who tells the company story in a compelling manner.

Join Rena Cook in this interactive and highly entertaining workshop that will include a discussion about the powerful effect the voice has on others, including qualities of voices we love and qualities of voices we hate. What is the deal with Valley Girl up speak? Why does my voice tire after a twenty minute presentation? How do Morgan Freeman, Sam Elliot and Meryl Streep sound like that? A brief tutorial on how the voice works and why it can go so wrong will be followed by an outline of the major components of the voice: alignment, breath, resonance, articulation, inflection that communicates meaning.

All aspects will be brought together to discover that we each have a more open, authentic, and compelling voice! With awareness and practice we can all be more effective as we encourage employees to use their voices to enhance performance.
